Foster Homes
While adopting a homeless dog or cat saves a life, FOSTERING saves MANY lives!!. ARF is always looking for additional foster families who will open their homes and hearts to an animal in need, and provide love and care to the dog or cat until they are adopted. ARF will provide food and medical care for the animal while in the foster home. All we ask is that the foster animal be shown at least once a month at either the Friday (71st Street) or Saturday (41st Street) PetsMart booth locations.

PetsMart Helpers
Each Friday and Saturday, ARF shows our animals at the local PetsMart. Our volunteers work the booth, which consists of showing the animals to people who are interested and walking the animals every so often outside of the store . . . (everyone needs relief sometimes!) We are always in need of more volunteers in this capacity also.For more information, please contact Volunteer Coordinator

As a volunteer, you can help our animals by: Becoming a FOSTER HOME...TRANSPORTING dogs and cats to vets or events...STAFFING the PetsMart Adoption Center...BATHING and grooming animals...STAFFING Special Events and Fundraisers...Picking up and DELIVERING DONATIONS...and MUCH, MUCH more!
